A reliable Peach Smoothie
This peach smoothie recipe is so simple, so good, so healthy, you will want to make it every single day. This smoothie is:
- only 3 ingredients
- healthy
- perfectly balanced
- creamy
- refreshing
Use Frozen Peaches
We've ignored peaches for many many years, because we thought we were allergic. We always used to get this itch inside our throat and ears and we could never scratch enough (using our tongue) whenever we had a peach in the past. We have bad pollen allergies and we read somewhere it’s some cross-reactivity that might happen with tree fruit and nuts. You should see us when we try to eat a raw hazelnut from the tree in our mom’s backyard. Mona Lisa got some competition.
Another reason we avoided peaches is we didn’t see the point in eating peaches when there’s watermelon right there. Poor peaches have some competition when it’s their time to shine – watermelon, melon, so so many satisfying fruits during summer!
But this summer we found a place in our heart and mouth for peaches too – turns out we're not (that) allergic and they’re so satisfying. Now we're a fan.
In fact, we're such a big fan that we bought some and picked (aahhh stole) some the other day. Nobody saw. It’s peach season, they’re basically falling off the trees. What do you want us to do?
Now we got so many peaches that we froze a bag full of them and they’re absolutely solid for the peach smoothie. When frozen, they make it creamier, thicker and so so refreshing and cooling.
With Yogurt Or Make It Dairy-Free
We know yogurt’s not cool anymore, but we like it and we use some to make this smoothie. It’s a great and much needed addition because it balances perfectly the sweetness of the peaches.
However, sometimes we use coconut milk. And we love it – it adds another solid flavor to the smoothie. That of coconut. So, so satisfying. If you’re dairy-free – that’s a great choice.
You Need 3 Ingredients For The Peach Smoothie
And the ingredients are:
- frozen peaches
- fresh orange juice
- coconut milk or yogurt of choice
We also added a bit of hemp seeds for some extra protein and omega’s, but that’s totally optional.
How it comes together
Add frozen peaches to the blender cup. Add an orange (you can also juice it). Add 1-2 Tbsp yogurt or third to half a cup of coconut milk to the peaches.
Then blend away.
If the peaches don’t blend all the way through, stop blending and scoop. Repeat a few times until your smoothie becomes creamy and, well, smooth.
Now you’ve got yourself a refreshing cold and creamy peach smoothie without any banana.
Pour into a glass and if you wish – top with some thinly chopped peaches. We loved these chunks as we were drinking it!
We hope you enjoy the healthy peach smoothie without banana as much as we do!

- Yield: 1
- Prep: 5 minutes
- Total: 5 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cup peaches, frozen
- 1 orange
- 1-2 Tbsp yogurt
Method
- Add all ingredients to your blender and blend until smooth. We had to stop and scoop a few times between blends (altogether 3x blends). If you let the peaches defrost for 5-10 minutes before blending, you might not need to stop and scoop that many times. Using smaller peach chunks also helps! You can add the orange whole or juice it before the blend.
- If you need to, add water or coconut milk to adjust the thickness of the smoothie.
- Enjoy!
Notes
Dairy-free Peach smoothie: 1 1/4 cup peaches, frozen 1 orange, juice of 1/3-1/2 cup coconut milk
